Italo Calvino

Chambre d'hôtes Nantes Centre-ville. Chambre Italo Calvino
I

Located at 3th floor and last floor of the house, Italo Calvino* is a suite composed of 2 rooms, one of 11 m2 overlooking the garden and those surrounding the other of 8 m2, south facing overlooking the rue Léon Say, and the city of Nantes.

The first room has a double bed 140/190, the 2th a bed of 90/190 and a small bed for a child of 70/170.

You will find in each of the rooms of this suite a work table, bedside tables, and the set of elements that are there, have either been bought and restored, or purchased new at the French manufacturers or the europeans, are of the family souvenirs or travel that we seemed to make sense with the mood of the pieces.

* Italo Calvino is a writer and an Italian journalist of the Twentieth century. Among the theorists of realism in Italian, he is a poet endowed with humor. It is most notably the author of the trilogy, Our Ancestors, composed by The Viscount Pourfendu (1952), Le Baron Perché (1957) and The Nonexistent Knight (1959). The choice of the name of the guest House is a nod to his Baron Perché, a hymn to freedom and intelligence.
